Leaving work, school or family responsibilities is not always straightforward. For people who are clinically suitable for outpatient care, a structured programme can offer support while they continue with everyday life.
We start by discussing the person's needs, current substance use, safety, support network and goals. Where a higher level of care or medical detox is needed, we encourage assessment by an appropriately qualified healthcare provider. Live virtual consultations are available when travel to Vanderbijlpark is not practical.
Programme activities and frequency are confirmed during assessment. Outpatient support is not a substitute for emergency care or medically supervised withdrawal when required.
Organisations can contact us to discuss a respectful, clearly documented approach to substance-use concerns and recovery support.

Evon Calvert Rautenbach founded Addicted to Addicts after a long and difficult personal journey through addiction and repeated rehabilitation attempts. Her lived experience shapes her commitment to meeting people with compassion, honesty and hope.
Evon shares her testimony so that people still struggling can know they are not alone, and that seeking help can be the beginning of a different future.
Read Evon’s testimony Speak to our teamA personal story of addiction, loss, faith, recovery and finding purpose in helping others.
My name is Evon Calvert Rautenbach. I spent many years struggling with addiction and went through 15 rehabilitation-centre experiences. I know what it is like to feel alone, to lose hope and to believe that life cannot change.
I began experimenting with drugs as a teenager. Over time, my substance use became more serious and affected my education, family, health and relationship with my children. After discovering that the cocaine I was using had been laced with heroin, I faced years of heroin addiction. My first rehabilitation attempt ended in an early departure and relapse, and I experienced periods of homelessness and deep despair.
I survived life-threatening consequences, including an overdose that left me in intensive care. In later years, I struggled with other substances too. I felt that I had lost so much of what mattered to me, and there were times when I did not want to live.
At 37, I made the decision to take my life back and to use what I had lived through to help others who are still suffering. My faith is central to my story, and I believe my experiences have given me a purpose: to offer understanding, encouragement and support to people facing addiction today.
I share this testimony not because recovery is easy or the same for everyone, but because I want people and families to know that they can reach out for help. You are more than the worst chapter of your life, and you do not have to face the next step alone.
— Evon Calvert Rautenbach, Founder of Addicted to Addicts
